    Dr. Farhat was born in Southeast Michigan. He grew up in Beirut and completed his medical training at the American University of Beirut faculty of medicine and his Pediatric Residency at Michigan State University. He went on to finish his fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the University of Michigan – CS Mott Children’s Hospital.

    Research Overview

    His research interests include understanding the genomic basis of pediatric sepsis, the application of extended reality technologies to pediatric critical care and assessment of the efficacy of multi-disciplinary medical simulation programs. He is a member of the University of Michigan Precision Health Group and works with the University of Michigan XR initiative.
