    I am a pediatric cardiologist with specialization in advanced heart failure, cardiac transplant, and mechanical circulatory support as well as pulmonary hypertension. I consider myself first and foremost a clinician-educator, with my patients and my interests in medical education directly informing my scholarly work both in clinical research and medical education.

    Research Overview

    My research interests, in additional to medical education scholarship, include the long term outcomes of patients with single ventricle physiology, mental health of patients with congenital heart disease and specifically patients with single ventricle heart disease, as well as the impact of social determinants of health on long term and specifically mental health outcomes in these populations.
