    Dr. Mark Riederer, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, did his undergraduate training in biomedical engineering at the Boston University College of Engineering. After graduating summa cum laude, he attended medical school at the Boston University School of Medicine. He completed a general pediatrics residency at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He practiced pediatric hospital medicine for nine years before completing a pediatric primary care sports medicine fellowship. He has been practicing pediatrics since 2004, non-surgical pediatric sports medicine since 2014, and is the Team Physician for Brighton High School and the University of Michigan hockey team. He is an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine, and a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. He is board certified in General Pediatrics and Sports Medicine. He enjoys hiking, biking, traveling, and flying in his off time. His clinical practice includes caring for young athletes with musculoskeletal injuries, including non-surgical fracture care.
