Dr. Aparna Joshi is a pediatric radiologist and the Associate Chair of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Department of Radiology. Dr. Joshi has co-authored an introductory textbook on pediatric radiology for medical students and pediatric providers. She serves as a manuscript reviewer and editorial board member for multiple imaging journals. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Society for Pediatric Radiology and the American College of Radiology.

Since completing her residency and fellowship training at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Joshi has practiced pediatric radiology in southeast Michigan, joining the University of Michigan faculty in 2018. Her special clinical interests include imaging of congenital heart disease and pediatric thyroid imaging.

As Associate Chair for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Dr. Joshi works with the Radiology DEI Steering Committee to coordinate participation in various pipeline programs including the Youth Summit at the Big House and OHEI SiMfest and arrange DEI programming for faculty/staff/learners.
