Dr. Broglio's research agenda has consistently centered on collaborative, interdisciplinary science that elucidates the acute and persistent outcomes of concussion.
These investigations have largely been conducted among current and former athletes as the sporting environment serves as a perfect ‘research laboratory’ allowing for pre and post-morbid longitudinal designs in a population that incurs injuries at higher rates than the general population. Within this context, his work has focused on on three intersecting themes: 1) Concussion management, 2) Concussion biomechanics, and 3) Persistent effects of concussion.
