  • About

Research and professional interests include the design and implementation of tools within or interfacing with the electronic health record that improve patient care and patient safety, support better user experience (patient, family, or provider), and decrease provider burnout and dissatisfaction.

As the NHSN CoLab lead at Michigan Medicine, I facilitate and oversee the alpha and beta testing of a novel, modernized real-time reporting mechanism using Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) interfaces to evaluate new and established NHSN measures.

As the Associate Chief Medical Information Officer for the Provider Builder Program, I oversee and assist more than thirty providers in the customer discovery, design, and implementation process of changes in the Epic(R) electronic health record at Michigan Medicine.
