    About

    Dr. Toma earned his medical degree from Baghdad University (2001) and completed a Master’s of Public Health from the University of Albany (2007). He completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Beaumont Hospital (2011) and also a fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Michigan (2012). Since then, he was appointed at the Family Medicine Department of Michigan Medicine. He has worked in multiple settings including outpatient, inpatient, long term and Home care settings.
    He is also the medical director for Patient Monitoring at Home of Michigan Medicine since 2021.
    He is passionate about chronic diseases management, preventive medicine and complex care.
