Throughout my career at the University of Michigan, I have focused on providing exceptional clinical care while advancing the mission of the University via teaching, service and research. At the institutional level, I currently serve on the Department of Radiology's Resident Selection Committee, Trauma Quality Control Committee and as an Associate Program Director for the Radiology Residency Program. I have received
outstanding teaching evaluations throughout my career at the University. It has been an honor to receive several teaching awards given by our residents in recognition of my efforts. It has been gratifying to serve as a mentor for the Radiology and Emergency Medicine Journal Club. My research has focused on imaging acutely ill patients and has been instrumental in the development of MRI imaging protocols at the University
of Michigan. Regionally, I serve on the Michigan Radiological Society Membership Committee. Working with the American College of Surgeons Trauma Quality Improvement Program (ACS TQIP), I collaborated in formulating national guidelines in cases of suspected elder abuse which I was invited to present at the national meeting of the American Society of Emergency Radiology. Serving on the American Society of Emergency Radiology Fellowship Education Committee, I help shape policy and educational guidelines for Emergency Radiology fellowships nationwide. My future goals include creation of an Emergency Radiology fellowship at the University of Michigan.
