    Jonathan F. Finks, M.D, is a Professor in the Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery, Section of General Surgery. Dr. Finks graduated from Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts with a degree in English Literature in 1991. Dr. Finks received his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine, Irvine, California, in 1998. He completed his General Surgery residency in June of 2003, at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio. Dr. Finks went on to complete a two-year fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. He joined the faculty at the University of Michigan Health System in August of 2005.

    Dr. Finks clinical interests are Minimally Invasive Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, and Achalasia.
