About Us

The Division of Anatomical Sciences is the educational and research hub for human anatomy in the U-M Medical School’s Department of Surgery. DAS faculty design and facilitate curricula supporting the Medical School, School of Dentistry and numerous graduate and undergraduate colleges. Faculty also are involved in anatomical research, pedagogical research and developing premier tools for learning anatomy.

Anatomical Sciences Academics

The division supports medical students at the University of Michigan in their studies of anatomical sciences. We offer courses focusing on medical, dental, and anatomy education.

Anatomical Donations Program

Our program manages the anatomical donations for the medical school, which are essential to education and research at the University of Michigan. We hold a Service of Gratitude for donors to honor the gift of knowledge they provide.
