Dr. Jessica Naftaly is a licensed clinical psychologist and clinical instructor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Naftaly is passionate about providing patient-centered and trauma-informed care as part of a patient’s interdisciplinary gastroenterology team. She specializes in treating patients with a variety of GI concerns such as inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and esophageal disorders. Dr. Naftaly's clinical interests are in psychogastroenterology (cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, medical
hypnosis), inflammatory bowel disease, disorders of brain-gut interaction, posttraumatic stress disorder, and women's health.
