I completed my medical school training at the University of Illinois in Chicago, followed by a pediatric residency at the University of Michigan. I obtained my pediatric rheumatology fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Colorado. I also completed a Master's of Science in Clinical Science from the University of Colorado during my fellowship. My main research focus is on clinical outcomes in rheumatic disease with specific disease interest in childhood-onset Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and Lupus Nephritis. I also have interest in fostering collaborative research with investigators who are performing translational and/or basic science research in rheumatology.
