Dr. Kropf completed a combined fellowship in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and medical education prior to joining faculty. He is Assistant Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program and is interested in evaluation and assessment of learners. He also directs medical student ultrasound education for the department and is Co-Director of the Diagnostics and Therapeutics Branch of the University of Michigan Medical School. Research interests also include: Integration of Clinical Ultrasound in practice, including Diagnostic, Procedural, and Resuscitative Ultrasound; Medical Education; Bedside Teaching; Bedside and Formal Assessment; Mentorship; Development of Skills and Knowledge.
