Dr. William M. Sherk is a board-certified Vascular Interventional Radiologist specializing in venous, lymphatic, and aortic diseases. He is co-lead of the steering committee of the Frankel Cardiovascular Center Venous Health Program, a multidisciplinary team focusing on the care of patients with complex venous problems.
Dr. Sherk completed training at the University of Michigan in Interventional Radiology, where he served as Chief Resident. After residency, he joined the faculty at University of Michigan in the division of Interventional Radiology. His research focuses on the diagnosis and multidisciplinary treatments of venous disease, including chronic venous occlusion, cancer-related venous obstruction, and pulmonary embolism. He currently serves as the Program Director for the Integrated Interventional Radiology residency.
