    David M. Walton, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan specializing in disorders of the Foot and Ankle. Raised in Michigan, he completed undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. He was awarded his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. David M. Walton is a clinician educator with focus on both medical students and orthopaedic residents. He is the Orthopaedic Surgery Clerkship Director for Medical Students as well as Coordinator for visiting students for orthopaedic surgery. For Orthopaedic Residents he serves as the Foot and ankle Education Lead, Wellness Director and currently is the Director of Quality Improvement.
