    Dr. Sarah Tehranisa is an Emergency Medicine physician with a background in both clinical practice and healthcare leadership. She earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, where she also completed her residency in Emergency Medicine, serving as chief resident in her final year. Following her residency, she joined University Hospitals in Cleveland, initially as an Assistant Medical Director, before advancing to the role of Medical Director for the Emergency Department at Cleveland Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma center.

    In her leadership role, Dr. Tehranisa played a pivotal part in developing protocols and implementing operational improvements across the 12 University Hospitals health system Emergency Departments. Her expertise extends into academia, where she served as an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. In addition, she contributes to the broader field of Emergency Medicine through her service on the Administration and Operations Committee for the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine.
