Dr. Grant is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School and hospitalist in the Division of Hospital Medicine. He is Director of the Preoperative Medicine Clinic and is active in medical student and residency education. Dr. Grant is an Associate Chief Medical Information Officer for Michigan Medicine and is a leader in the University of Michigan’s Precision Health program.
Dr. Grant has published several papers in the fields of venous thromboembolism and perioperative medicine in addition to authoring many book chapters. Dr. Grant’s professional organization memberships include senior fellowship in the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM), fellowship in the American College of Physicians (ACP), and he is on the Board of Governors for the Society for Perioperative Assessment and Quality Improvement (SPAQI).
