Research Scouts is a new research initiative from Michigan Medicine that provides money to scientists (the “Scouts”) to invest in other scientists' bold ideas. Research Investigator Kevin Bohannon is one of the 24 Research Scouts, from 17 Medical School departments, who have each been allotted $150,000 to support the promising scientific ideas, technologies, methods, and tools of other Medical School researchers. Visit the Research Scouts website to learn more about how the program works and to submit your innovative ideas to the Scouts to be considered for funding.
