The department is thrilled to announce that two Biological Chemistry Ph.D. students, Harsha Gouda and Renke Tan, have received Rackham Predoctoral Fellowships for 2023–24. This prestigious award supports outstanding students who have achieved candidacy and are working on dissertations that are unusually creative, ambitious, and impactful. Harsha is mentored by Dr. Ruma Banerjee, and Renke is mentored by Dr. Yan Zhang. Congratulations to both of our awardees!
