Dr. Yu Kuei (Alex) Lin is a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology, and Diabetes at the University of Michigan. As a clinician-scientist, he focuses on clinical research aimed at characterizing risk factors associated with hypoglycemia and developing corresponding interventions to improve hypoglycemia management in individuals living with diabetes. Dr. Lin possesses expertise in various areas, including diabetes management, clinical hypoglycemia research, diabetes technologies, survey research, qualitative interviewing and analysis, mobile health intervention development and testing, as well as designing and conducting trials to evaluate diabetes technologies and behavioral interventions.
