    About

    Heidi Joshi, PsyD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Alliant International University/California School of Professional Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Northwestern university. She has completed a fellowship in Behavioral Science and Family Systems Education from the Society for Teachers of Family Medicine and has a certification in Integrated Primary Care from University of Massachusetts.

    Dr. Joshi sees patients in the outpatient setting for brief therapy at both the Chelsea and the Ypsi clinics. She is an Assistant Residency Director for Behavioral Health in the Department of Family Medicine and has expertise in integrated behavioral health and brief interventions for depression, anxiety, AD/HD and other common primary care behavioral health needs. She feels it is a deep privilege to walk alongside patients as they grapple with their own mental health concerns and the courage to make changes.
