    I am a tenured professor of psychiatry with an appointment in the child and adolescent psychiatry section. I work primarily in the out patient section and am the director of clinic, "Pediatric Electroconvulsive Therapy and Treatment Resistant Disorders."

    Research Overview

    Areas of my research interest include the study of mood disorders, treatment refractory disorders, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and catatonia. I have published widely in these areas. My work has resulted in laying a blue print that has been foundational about the use of ECT in youth. Among other published work, I have published one of the first books about the use of ECT in minors.
