Dr. Knill’s primary research has revolved around the commissioning and quality assurance of linac-base radiotherapy, with a particular emphasis on stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). His research publications cover a wide range of topics, including linear accelerator calibration, safety, radiation device calibration, mathematical modeling, and Monte Carlo simulations. His diverse publications are a result of his passion for engaging in enriching discussions with diverse groups of individuals. Dr. Knill is committed to connecting with other radiotherapy professionals to facilitate education, improve existing treatments, and generate innovative research ideas with the goal of enhancing cancer care both domestically and globally. His main areas of clinical interest are commissioning, quality assurance, and safety of linac-based radiotherapy treatments with a focus on stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).
