    BIO:
Qiong Yang is an Associate Professor of Biophysics at the University of Michigan (UM) in Ann Arbor. She received a Ph.D. in Physics from MIT in 2009 and was a Damon Runyon postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Chemical and Systems Biology at Stanford University before joining UM in 2014. She has received awards including NSF CAREER, NIH MIRA, Sloan Fellowship, Elizabeth C. Crosby Award, and Class of 1923 Memorial Teaching Award. The Yang Lab is affiliated with the departments of Physics, Applied Physics, BME, Complex Systems, CMB, CDB, and Bioinformatics. Her research group bridges Biophysics with Quantitative Systems & Synthetic Biology and Mechanobiology to pursue a comprehensive understanding of stochastic cellular and developmental processes in early embryos including Xenopus and zebrafish.

We are recruiting! We warmly welcome interested individuals at all levels to check out our lab web pages (https://websites.umich.edu/~qiongy/) and contact us via [email protected] to learn more.
