Raymond Trievel, PhD, and Zhonggang Hou, PhD, receive promotions

At their May meeting the Board of Regents approved the recommendation for promotion of Raymond Trievel to Professor of Biological Chemistry, with tenure. Ray's promotion will be effective September 1, 2023. Congratulations to Ray for this recognition of his excellent research, extensive teaching and mentoring contributions, and valued service to the community!

In recognition of his ongoing contributions to developing cutting-edge gene editing technologies using CRISPR, Zhonggang Hou has been promoted to Research Assistant Professor of Biological Chemistry. Zhonggang's promotion will be effective September 1, 2023. Congratulations to Zhonggang for his advancement!
